I don’t usually post pictures of my naked nails because I hate how yellow they can get after I paint them for a while.  However, I just removed my nail polish to repaint them, and I was really surprised at how much growth had happen for it only being 6 days.  So, I thought I would share it with the world.

I’m really busy currently so I may not always have time to post every day, but when I do I’ll be sure to stop by and give an update.

utopia-of-greed:  Hey, I just started a nail biting blog today and yours was the first one I ever came across that really helped me to try and quit! Just thought you should know :-)

Awww thank you!  It is such a hard habit to quit!  I’m still struggling…obvi.  I want to start up again though, I just have to get into the right mindset again.  Good luck with your nail biting!!

Hey guys,

I know I disappear more often then I show my face, but what can you do.  I want to start doing this again now that it is the summer, and I feel like if there is a time of the year I’m most likely going to break this habit it’s going to be now.

Last month I moved from Kentucky all the way to California for a summer internship.  I’m loving it so far, but it would be better if I had nails.  So, time to start doing this again.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Anonymous:  Hey! I was a nail biter as well and my nails were just as short as yours. I just really hope you don't give up and find the time to always pick yourself up and try again, because you get better each time. When you're stopping, try not to think about your nails too much, 'cause that's when you start biting them. Once you forget about them, they seem to grow faster. I know, it's easier said than done but I've walked this road before and I know what you're going through. Goodluck!

Thank you so much for these kind words!  I haven’t given up, I don’t think I could ever officially given up.  But I haven’t been working on it this semester, so my nails are pretty short.  It definitely is harder said than done.  When I am trying to stop bite my nails and they grow and look nice, I think about them more because all I can do is look and admire them, which just leads me to picking at them because I’m so intrigued, haha.  It’s a huge process, but I appreciate your words!  It helps.  I need to try harder.
